The intelligence unit of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) says the United States is running out of choices in its standoff with Iran. In a message posted online, the IRGC claimed that President Donald Trump now faces two difficult options: launch what it called an “impossible” military operation or accept a “bad deal” with Iran. The group also said Iran has given a deadline for the US military to end its blockade of Iranian ports, though it did not reveal the exact timing. According to the statement, China, Russia and some European countries are changing their tone toward Washington and becoming more critical of US actions. The IRGC said these developments have reduced America’s ability to make decisions freely and increased pressure on the Trump administration during the ongoing tensions with Iran.
