Hezbollah has shown it is still ready to fight by carrying out nine attacks on Friday. Some attacks targeted Israeli soldiers inside Lebanon, while others crossed the Blue Line into northern Israel.
Even though there is a ceasefire, both sides are still exchanging fire. Israel says it is continuing air strikes, artillery attacks, and demolitions in areas of Lebanon it controls because of security concerns.
Nabih Berri, a key ally of Hezbollah, rejected a suggestion from the US Embassy in Beirut to hold talks with Israeli and US leaders. He said there is no point in talks while Lebanon is still being attacked. He also said the ceasefire is meaningless because Israel has increased its strikes.
Many Lebanese leaders and experts are now worried that the ceasefire could completely fail, and any chance of peace talks might collapse.
