Health services in southern Lebanon are coming under increasing pressure as Israeli attacks continue across the region.
Earlier, five medics were killed in an Israeli strike. Reports from the ground say attacks on ambulances, paramedics and hospitals have become a repeated pattern during the conflict.
Israel says some medical workers are linked to Hezbollah or the Amal movement and claims that ambulances are sometimes used to transport fighters or weapons. Because of this, Israeli forces say they are targeting certain medical units.
However, people in southern Lebanon say the attacks are destroying important services needed to keep civilians alive, including hospitals and emergency response teams.
Heavy explosions were also reported overnight near the coastal city of Tyre in southwestern Lebanon. Residents say there is no sign of a ceasefire and fear the fighting could become even more intense.
Israel has also issued new warnings telling people in 11 towns and villages to leave their homes, increasing fears of more displacement in the south.
