According to Fyrim reports, food prices in Iran have sharply increased due to the ongoing war and economic crisis, leaving many families struggling to buy basic necessities.
Residents in major cities say the cost of essential items has more than tripled compared to last year. Bread, meat, cooking oil, dairy products, and vegetables have all seen major price increases.
A Tehran resident named Nilram told Al Jazeera that “prices keep rising, while salaries stay the same,” highlighting the growing pressure on ordinary families.
Reports say inflation and supply shortages are worsening across the country, with many households unable to keep up with rising living costs.
