Israeli forces sent additional troops to the Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank during a raid on the area. The clashes started after a Palestinian gunman reportedly opened fire on Israeli border police. Israeli forces were in the camp to carry out an operation linked to a UNRWA building in Kafr Aqab. Israeli police returned fire at the gunman, but his condition or death has not been officially confirmed. According to Wafa news agency, a young Palestinian man was seriously injured during the raid. The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli forces entered a vocational training institute near the camp and used tear gas, stun grenades, and live ammunition. Reports said the injured man suffered a serious head wound during the operation.
