Hezbollah said it fired artillery at two Israeli military sites in southern Lebanon, including the Balat position and Israeli troops in Rashaf. The group said the attacks were a response to Israeli ceasefire violations and strikes on Lebanese villages.
The attacks reportedly happened within minutes of each other on Thursday afternoon. Israel has not yet commented on Hezbollah’s claims.
At the same time, Israeli air strikes continued across southern Lebanon, including Nabatieh, Tyre, Bint Jbeil and parts of the Bekaa Valley.
Hezbollah also claimed it targeted Israeli tanks and troop gatherings, while Israeli officials said a drone explosion in the northern town of Rosh Hanikra wounded three people.
