According to reports from Beirut, 20 Israeli personnel have been killed in Lebanon since March 2. The deaths include 19 soldiers and one civilian contractor. Journalist Zeina Khodr said on social media that six of those killed died after the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon started in mid-April. The Israeli military said on Friday that the latest casualty was a 20-year-old soldier who was killed during combat operations in southern Lebanon. Tensions and clashes have continued in the border area despite the ceasefire agreement, raising concerns about further escalation.
