Heavy Israeli air strikes struck the Remal neighbourhood in Gaza, causing major destruction in an area already damaged by months of war.
According to local reports, Israeli warplanes fired at least four missiles at residential buildings where displaced families were staying. One building suffered severe damage, with several floors destroyed and fires spreading through the structure while people were still trapped inside.
Rescue teams recovered at least seven bodies from the rubble, while dozens of injured people were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital for treatment.
Residents say the area has faced repeated attacks despite claims of a ceasefire. Many people believe the truce is not being respected, as strikes and violence continue across Gaza.
