Iran has announced that its ports are prepared to support commercial ships travelling through the Strait of Hormuz. According to Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, ships can receive fuel, medical help, maintenance supplies, and other maritime services at Iranian ports. The message was sent to captains of commercial vessels in the Gulf region through official communication systems. Iran said the advisory will be broadcast three times a day for three days using maritime communication networks and VHF radio systems. The move comes as tensions in the region continue to affect shipping and trade routes.
