The United Nations has raised concern after Israel carried out about 100 strikes across Lebanon in one day. UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher said many civilians were killed and many families were forced to leave their homes because of the attacks. Fletcher said aid groups are trying to help people with food, shelter, and medical support, but he stressed that the most important thing is to stop the fighting. He called for a real ceasefire to protect civilians and reduce suffering in Lebanon.
