The United Arab Emirates says its major Habshan gas-processing complex is still recovering after being damaged during Iranian attacks in the war. ADNOC Gas said the facility is currently working at about 60 percent capacity. The company hopes to restore 80 percent of production by the end of 2026, while full recovery is expected in 2027. The Habshan site in Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest gas facilities and supplies energy across the UAE. During the conflict, the site was hit several times after debris from missile interceptions caused fires and forced production shutdowns. ADNOC Gas also reported a 15 percent drop in quarterly profits, saying the energy sector is facing difficult conditions because of regional tensions and Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has launched drone and missile attacks on US-linked targets and civilian infrastructure in the UAE during the war, including airports and energy facilities.
