US President Donald Trump has said that the upcoming visit of King Charles III and Queen Camilla could help improve relations between the US and the UK. In an interview with the BBC, Trump said the visit would “absolutely” help. He described King Charles as a “fantastic” and “brave” man and said the visit would be positive for both countries. The King and Queen are set to visit the US for four days. During the trip, they will meet Trump at the White House. King Charles will also have a private meeting with him and deliver a speech to Congress. After spending two days in Washington, they will travel to other places including New York, Virginia, and Bermuda before returning to the UK. Trump also spoke about UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He said Starmer could improve his position if he changes his immigration policies. The visit is also meant to celebrate 250 years of US independence and highlight the strong relationship between the US and the UK in areas like security, history, and economic cooperation.
