An expert, Giorgio Cafiero, says relations between Gulf countries and Iran may remain weak for a long time after recent conflicts. He explained that Gulf nations want peace and stability in the region, especially the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which is very important for oil trade. The ongoing tensions have also hurt their economies. Gulf countries depend on foreign investment, tourism, and business growth, and conflict makes this difficult. Cafiero added that these countries do not want more war between the US-Israel alliance and Iran. He believes that although peace is important, rebuilding trust with Iran will take many years.
