According to Fyrim Report, Ali Akbar Dareini, a researcher at Tehran’s Centre for Strategic Studies, says Iran is not expected to accept the latest 14-point proposal from the United States.
According to him, the proposal still asks Iran to give up too much and is based on what he called “maximalist demands”.
Dareini said the US government believes military pressure could force Iran to surrender, but he argued this strategy has failed in the past and will fail again.
He also said former US President Donald Trump does not fully understand Iran’s resilience and ability to continue resisting pressure.
According to Dareini, even if Trump started the conflict, ending it is no longer fully in US control because Iran now has a major role in deciding how the situation develops.
