According to Pakistani sources, Iran has sent its response to a US proposal through Islamabad, though the details remain secret due to the sensitive nature of the negotiations. Pakistan is reportedly trying to persuade Iran to adopt a middle-ground approach in order to avoid further escalation and help stabilise the region. Countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and China are also in close contact with Iranian officials as diplomatic discussions continue.
